Who we are

WhosPet (whospet.co.uk) is operated by CODESEQ LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13893168), registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. By using WhosPet, you agree to these terms.

The service

WhosPet provides a QR/NFC pet tag and an online profile for your pet. If someone scans the tag, they can send you a one-way email notification, optionally with a message and their location. WhosPet is a notification relay — it does not guarantee that a lost pet will be found, that a finder will scan the tag, or that any notification will be delivered. We recommend using WhosPet alongside, not instead of, microchipping.

You can optionally mark a pet as “lost” from your dashboard. Doing so displays whichever emergency contact details you've added directly to anyone who scans that tag, until you mark the pet found again. You're responsible for what you choose to share this way and for turning it off once the pet is found.

Ordering and payment

Your first tag is free — you pay UK postage only. Additional tags in the same order (up to 5 total) are charged at the price shown at checkout, covering their production cost. Payment is processed by Stripe. We currently ship to UK addresses only.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel an order and receive a full refund any time before it ships — email hello@whospet.co.uk. Once an order has shipped, it can't be cancelled or refunded.

Your content

You're responsible for the pet name, photo, breed, and message you add to a tag's profile. It must be accurate and must not be offensive, unlawful, or infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend a tag that breaches this.

Acceptable use

Don't use the scan-notification system to harass, spam, or send abusive messages to a tag owner, and don't attempt to claim a tag that isn't rightfully yours. We may suspend access for accounts that misuse the service.

Liability

WhosPet is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for a pet not being found, for a notification email failing to arrive or being delayed, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
